As we work through the transition from full time dog and cat boarding facility to full time Feline boarding facility, we have decided to utilize our Bunk house 1 dog yard [closest to the road] as a private dog park. Our plans include a large pagoda for shade and relaxation for you while your dog can explore, play, and other wise use the facilities. We will be adding activities as we go but we hope to have an agility course, tether tug pole, tires to jump on, places to dig and even wading pool [weather permitting]. The dog park will be by appointment only.
Cost will be $20 an hour for the park. You may bring your friends and your dog’s friends at no extra charge.
At A Place of Refuge, we understand that a reactive dog is not a bad dog and that every doggo deserves a place to play, practice training or just sniff and explore. Reactive dogs are WELCOME here as well as social dogs that love their Best Furry Friends and want to bring them along. When you book a one-hour appointment for the park, please let us know if your dog is reactive and we will make sure that our dogs are inside our home so that you may have a peaceful transition to the yard. You and your dog will have the entire yard to themselves!
